Often, it may seem challenging to find resources that have been vetted and are helping the community of first responders and veterans.  While we are not selling anything, we can provide resources from Special Guests we have had on the show.  Click on each logo to learn more about each of these organizations

Survive First

Survive First is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, whose mission is to assist active duty and retired first responders and families who need mental health support from the impact of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression, and substance abuse.

Survival Mindset Consulting

Survival Mindset Consulting offers the tools, training, and resources to shift the focus from “what is WRONG with you” to “what HAPPENED to you.”​ Survival Mindset specializes in Trauma Informed Trainings related to trauma experienced on the job and supporting all first responders and veterans to get help.

Out of Chaos

Out of Chaos was founded by Ret OKC Firefighter, Chris Fields. Chris travels around the country sharing the real stories and the brutal realities of a life spent responding to citizens in their darkest hours. Chris helps bring the light to these dark, traumatic experiences with his transparent courage. Through his speaking, he has helped first responders get the help and support they need.

Lighthouse Health & Wellness

Lighthouse Health & Wellness is an in-hand, on-demand, 100% confidential health and wellness platform available at no cost to our nation’s public safety agencies.

Lighthouse was designed to provide your employees and their families anonymous access to your agency’s existing health and wellness programs, along with a growing library of the latest educational health and wellness information and tools that have been tailored to the unique needs of those working in public safety.

Blue Line Psychological Services

Blue Line Psychological Services was founded by Dr. Tom Coghlan. Dr. Coghlan is a retired NYPD Detective and a Clinical Psychologist specialized in police and public safety psychology. He provides culturally-competent psychotherapy to police and their families. Dr. Coghlan is the NY Area Clinician with the Drug Enforcement Administration’s EAP, and is licensed to practice psychology in New York and New Jersey.

Blue Paz

Blue Paz, LLC was founded by Dr. Dara Rampersad. Dr. Rampersad is a licensed psychologist in both Arizona and Hawaii, and specializes in first responder crisis intervention. He is certified in Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT) as a CIT Coordinator, and is trained in Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM), and FBI-Crisis Negotiator Teams (CNT). In addition, Dr. Rampersad is licensed as a professional counselor in Arizona and Colorado, and is nationally board certified in counseling, with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.

Making Everything Good

Making Everything Good (M.E.G.) is a 501(c)(3) co-founded by Meg Hawkins and Eric Provow. Their mission is to assist and support the needs of individuals, families, and organizations associated with public safety, military, veterans, and the local community.

Badges United Foundation

Badges United Foundation is dedicated to helping our First Responders in anyway possible. After experiencing critical incidents on a daily basis, First Responders struggle with invisible wounds. Their programming is specifically focused to help First Responders build healthy habits and expand their social support. Currently, Badges United offers a Treatment Support Fund to financially assist First Responders with mental health treatment insurance deductibles.

Labs for Liberty

Labs for Liberty is a 501(c)(3) organization. Their mission is to acknowledge, honor, and empower members of United States Special Operations Forces by providing service dogs for PTSD and physical needs.

COPLine

COPLine is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 dedicated to serving active and retired law enforcement officers and their loved ones by providing CONFIDENTIAL 24/7 trained retired officers for callers that are dealing with various stressors law enforcement careers encounter both on and off the job. Whether it is just a “bad day” or a crisis we are here to listen. We are able to assist with a referral to a culturally competent mental health professional.

Warrior’s Rest Foundation

Warrior’s Rest Foundation is a resource for law enforcement and first responder personnel, departments and communities across the U.S. They offer counseling and peer support for anyone, anywhere. They train up peer support teams by using Critical Incident Stress Management instructors that go beyond the crisis intervention training and mentor these teams on how to perform these peer support and crisis management techniques in a very difficult environment.

Folds of Honor

Folds of Honor provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members. Their motto says it best. “Honor Their Sacrifice. Educate Their Legacy”
